My name is Michael A and I am a dedicated male home carer with experience in a range of care types including hourly and overnight care. I have a strong passion for providing support to individuals with different needs, and my experience includes caring for clients with Mild Cognitive Impairment, being bedbound, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
Though I don't have a car myself, I am able to drive and have reliable transportation to fulfill my duties. Some of my skills include assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. I believe that fostering a positive and supportive environment is essential in enhancing the quality of life for those I care for.
Outside of my caring role, I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy. Photography allows me to capture beautiful moments and memories. Socializing with friends and participating in community activities is important to me as it helps to maintain a balanced and fulfilled lifestyle. Reading, listening to music, and staying active with sports also bring me joy and provide a well-rounded approach to my life.
In terms of pet preferences, I am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. Their presence can often bring comfort and companionship to individuals, which is why I am happy to assist with their care.
I am known for being a caring, friendly, and helpful individual. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives and support them in a way that allows them to be as autonomous as possible.
